I See You

Hey sweet Mama Friend,

I see you.

I know this season isn’t easy. You’re dealing with change. I know those kids are a lot of work and this pandemic has made it hard on everyone. I know you’re exhausted.

I see you.

I know how badly you want to get this thing right. You care for those kiddos day in and day out.

I see you.

I know you love to mother but I also know that some days you just want to sit in your bathroom, cry, and be alone. Me too.

I see you.

I know you get overwhelmed and some days you lose your cool. I know you’re not super human. Some days are harder than others.

I see you.

I know you want a break. You want a vacation. You want to binge watch Netflix and eat junk food. You want a margarita on the beach.

I see you.

I know you love your kids so much that some days it hurts. We are raising tiny humans and this job isn’t easy. Some days they are punks and that’s okay to say.

I see you.

I know your kids love you. They adore you but sometimes they don’t know how to express it. You are their hero, you know.

I see you.

I know you’re on that third cup of coffee and it’s only 10am. That’s okay.

I see you.

I know you do a lot that goes unnoticed. You do “all the things.” You’re incredible. And you are the perfect mom to those kids.

I see you.

I know you’re not alone even when you feel alone.

I see you.

As a fellow mom, I see you my friend. Mothering is so hard and so rewarding all at the same time. It’s a balancing act. It’s a struggle but it’s also a joy. I get it and I see you. You’re awesome and I just wanted to remind you.
